At the core of REMi’s patented technology are innovative, non-invasive sensors. Stretchable, soft and seamlessly embedded into industry-standard, medical-grade mattress covers, they can intelligently sense human presence, posture, and biometrics.
This allows them to not only detect the presence (or absence) of a person in bed, but process vital information about their position. They also monitor for abnormalities and potential health risks, such as their state of sleep or distress.
This data is then relayed to carers, providing valuable insights that allow for proactive fall prevention and the mitigation of common yet critical risks.

Accurate, non-invasive pressure sensors are integrated into a mattress cover by seamlessly bonding electronics to the fabric.
Sensing layerA force sensitive ink is printed and formulated to allow for detection of extremely small pressure changes
Conductive layerFlexible conductive ink transfers sensor responses to wireless electronics.
Wireless control boxA wireless control box acquires changes in sensor response and uploads data to the REMi cloud.
